I auditioned for the part of "Maggie" feeling perfectlyconfident in my portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor, however, I was unaware that my director saw exactly what I had been thinking. Although Gertrude and Hamlet are fictional characters, the way Shakespeare portrays them is representative of real human behavior. 句子核心部分是三個名詞的平行，并且每一個核心名詞都被形容詞比較級修飾，在最后一個平行部分前要用and。首先排除C，因為C用了in addition而不是and。

C、D和E中，not only的位置都是有問題的，C的not only并列的是動詞wastes而不是從句；D的not only并列的是沒劃線的名詞their children's time；E的not only并列的是表手段或方式的by itself。因此，都不能和but also＋that從句構(gòu)成平行。
