1.詞匯編碼，提前記憶

比如，在第三節(jié)里那個(gè)關(guān)于是否從失敗中學(xué)到有益經(jīng)驗(yàn)的作文題，筆者有許多學(xué)生會(huì)寫自己新到一個(gè)陌生的國(guó)家，語(yǔ)言能力弱，然后寫自己怎么樣克服語(yǔ)言障礙，這其中寫參加什么語(yǔ)言考試失敗，然后是如何從失敗中獲得教訓(xùn)，最后是怎么成功的故事。

Another unsuccessful endeavour was the Vietnam War. America sent troops to Vietnam to prevent the country from becoming Communist. However, after many years of struggle, the troops were withdrawn and Vietnam fell to the Communist party. But this failure had much value. 綜合全文看，作者以自己在藝術(shù)道路上的成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷來(lái)證明一個(gè)道理，即人們可以從眼前的事情中找到快樂(lè)，但卻不會(huì)滿足。

2.to take one’s time : (to work or go leisurely, not to hurry)

【說(shuō)明：】to take one’s time（從容不迫，慢慢來(lái)）指有足夠的時(shí)間，盡可慢慢的去做，time的后面可以跟現(xiàn)在分詞，如例一中的doing,作為主詞補(bǔ)語(yǔ)；也可以跟in, 接著用一名詞或動(dòng)名詞作為in的受詞如例二。

【例：】

(1) there is no hurry. You can take your time doing that work.

不要忙，你可以慢慢地去做那個(gè)工作。

(2)william never works rapidly. He always takes his time in everything that he does.
